About

Don’t Replace It. Restore It.

At Pimp My Wig, we believe your wig deserves a second life.

Hi. I'm Nikita. I’ve been repairing wigs since 2023, and what started as a passion for switching up my look, has grown into a genuine love for restoring and transforming units. There is something so rewarding about taking a wig that has been damaged, and bringing it back to life.

I take my time with every unit because I believe quality work shouldn’t be rushed. Every wig is different, and I approach each one with care and attention to detail. Whether it’s restoring a damaged hairline, filling in a bald spot, rebuilding density, or completely revamping a unit, I take pride in seeing the transformation from beginning to end.

Wig Ventilation & Restoration

I specialize in single-knot and double-knot ventilation, allowing me to restore missing hair and rebuild areas of a wig that have experienced thinning or loss.

While both techniques have their uses, I generally recommend double-knot ventilation for its added security and durability.

For ventilation services, the hair needed for the repair is normally acquired by cutting weft from the middle-back section of the wig. This placement is intentional, as the area is hardly noticeable once the wig is worn or styled, helping preserve the overall aesthetic of the unit - including when the wig is styled in an updo or elevated hairstyle.

My services include:

  • Wig ventilation
  • Bald spot restoration
  • Hairline repair
  • Density restoration
  • Wig revamping and customization

If you’re unsure whether your wig can be repaired, don’t assume it’s beyond saving. Send me photos and I’ll assess the condition of your unit and let you know what I can do.

Mail-In Wig Service

Located in Ontario, Canada, Pimp My Wig accepts mail-in wigs from anywhere.

Once you’ve requested a quote, you'll be provided with a postal code for my location, that way you can calculate your shipping costs before deciding to proceed.

Once you've accepted your quote and are ready to send your wig, you'll receive the necessary shipping information and mailing address.

Customers are responsible for shipping their wig to me and return shipping back to them. For valuable units, I strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service.

For international orders, customers are also responsible for any applicable customs fees, duties, taxes, or other charges associated with shipping across borders.

A Note About Quotes

Quotes are based on the photos and information provided when you submit your request. Because some damage or construction issues may not be visible until the wig is physically inspected, the final cost may occasionally differ from the initial estimate.

No additional work or charges will be approved without your consent.

If I determine that a requested repair cannot reasonably be completed once I inspect the unit, I’ll discuss the available options with you before proceeding.
